Pallets built for the load you carry
Ambica Wooden Works has made wooden packaging in Santej, on the edge of Ahmedabad, for about 35 years. Factories, warehouses and exporters across Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Gujarat buy our pallets for daily material handling, storage racks and export shipments.
Many pallets on the market are made light, with thin boards, to keep the cost down. They crack under the first heavy load or the first rough forklift. We would rather make a pallet that lasts: every pallet is built for the weight you tell us, and our heavy-duty four-way pallets use top boards a full 1 inch thick.
Types of pallets
- Four-way entry pallets: forks enter from all four sides. Easier to handle in tight warehouses and containers.
- Two-way entry pallets: forks enter from two sides. A simple, strong choice for fixed lines and storage.
- Custom size pallets: made to your length, width and load, for machines, panels, drums or cartons.
- Export pallets: heat treated to ISPM-15 and fumigated, so they clear customs abroad.
Right height for pallet trucks and forklifts
We keep proper height and clearance under the top deck so a hand pallet truck (the two-fork trolley on wheels that you pump with the handle to lift and push loads) or a forklift goes in smoothly. If you use a particular truck or rack, tell us its fork size and we build to it.
Sizes
There is no fixed list. We make the size you need, in inches, cm or mm. Buyers often ask for common export sizes such as 1200 × 1000 mm and 1200 × 800 mm, and we also make long and narrow pallets for machines and steel. Some sizes are kept in ready stock; others are made to order.
Wood we use
Local jungle wood for everyday domestic use, and pine, KD (kiln-dried) pine, Canadian pine or fir where you need cleaner, lighter or export-grade wood. We suggest the right wood for your load and destination.
